Aircraft Maintenance Staff
Both aircraft maintenance technicians are factory-trained on King Air aircraft among many others.
Chuck Hyer is the Director of Maintenance for the SCAC aircraft fleet. He has been a Director of Maintenance for multiple fleets and has 40-years of experience working on King Air aircraft. He is also a Flight Safety King Air 350 Master Technician. In 2020, he was the South Carolina Aviation Association (SCAA) and FAA Columbia Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) of the Year. He resides in Lexington, SC.
Matt Cropsey has over 25-years of aircraft maintenance experience. He has worked at multiple maintenance facilities in South Carolina. He is also a commercial multi-engine pilot and has a seaplane rating. Matt has flown in Africa, South America, and Alaska. He is a graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville. Matt has been named the current SCAA and FAA Columbia FSDO AMT of the Year. He resides in Lexington, SC.
