A Legacy of Opportunity: Triple Tree Aerodrome Leads the Nation in Youth Aviation Scholarships

WOODRUFF, SC – As South Carolina celebrates Aviation Week, Triple Tree Aerodrome is proud to distinguish itself not only as a world-class airfield but as the premier engine for youth aviation advancement in the Southeast.

With our ACE scholarship program now in its eighth year, Triple Tree has solidified its reputation as one of the largest providers of aviation-specific financial aid in the Palmetto State and a leading force for youth development across the nation.

Investing in the Future of Flight

In the past decade, the Triple Tree Aerodrome has provided over $100,000 in scholarship opportunities, directly investing in the dreams of young aviators. Unlike general educational grants, these funds are laser-focused on the aviation industry, ensuring that the next generation of pilots, engineers, and aerospace professionals has the financial tailwind needed to succeed.

The ACE Flight Scholarship: A Semi-Annual Commitment

The cornerstone of our scholarship programs is the ACE Flight Scholarship. Offered twice a year, in both the Spring and the Fall, this program provides $2,500 scholarships to exceptional young men and women. These funds are designed to:

  • Accelerate Flight Training: Helping students reach solo milestones and private pilot certifications.

  • Support Educational Goals: Bridging the gap for collegiate aviation programs and technical certifications.

  • Remove Financial Barriers: Ensuring that a passion for flight is the only requirement for success, regardless of economic background.

“Our mission has always been to ‘Ignite the Expand the Passion for Aviation,'” says Triple Tree Executive Director, Robb Williams. “By providing one of the most robust scholarship offerings in the Southeast, we aren’t just talking about the future of aviation, we are passing the torch to the next generation of leaders.”

Triple Tree Aerodrome continues to set the standard for how private organizations can partner with the community to create tangible, life-changing career paths for the youth of South Carolina and beyond.
